I purchased theses tires in early November 2025 because I urgently needed tires that could handle the snow since I did not have access to my winter set until mid-December of that year. I live in Eastern Canada and do a lot of highway driving so having a good set of tires that handles well in harsh conditions is a must for me. The Sailing Atrezzo 4S seemed to be a decent enough choice for the situation I was in.
For those who experienced it, winter 2025 came extremely early that year. Being all-weather tires, these tires are rated for light snow scenarios and not for full blown winters however, these tires got me through the first three snowstorm of more than 15cm of recorded snow with surpriseing ease.
These are my first Sailun Tires and I was extremely surprised by how well they handled the snow for being all-weather tires. Like any all-weather tires however, these tires are a littlebit slippery on ice but I haven’t found a single all-weather tires even from higher end brands that handles well on ice. So if you live in a area where you receive harsh winters, I would say that still having a good set of winter tires is still required but for lighter climates that occasionally receive snow I feel you could live with just this single set of tires.
Now for my spring/summer experience, I’ve driven them through light and heavy rain and they handled extremely well there too. Since I’ve had them, I haven’t experienced any aquaplanning even in heavier rainstorms. On dry asphalt, they grip the road well enough that I don’t feel scared to take highway curves at higher speed.
As for noise, they feel about the same as my previous set which were Michelin Primacy MXM4 but are definitely quieter than the Bridgestone Alenza Dueler H/L Plus I had previously.
Overall, I am extremely surprised and pleased with the performance of these tires for the price, so much so that I might only buy Sailun tires moving forward.
I would recommend these tires to anyone who needs a good tire that can handle harsh conditions but I would recommend then even more for people that live in softer climates than me and wants a single set of tires for all-year-round.
