Sailun Tire Versatility: From Compact Cars to Light Trucks

At Sailun, it’s because of the quality foundations we build from that makes it so we can offer such a diverse tire range. With performance tires for small passenger vehicles to hard-working SUVs and off-road trucking, and commercial vehicles, there’s something for everyone.

Sailun’s wide range of tires

How do we make this possible? We’ve fine-tuned the materials and technology we use to manufacture premium tires that guarantee performance and reliability. We continue to build on informed foundations to give our customers tires so they can drive safely and smoothly.

Passenger tires

For the everyday driver of coupes and sedans, Sailun has a wealth of options to choose from. There are seven passenger tires. See them here

Passenger tires are made with everyday driving in mind. They’re quiet, smooth, adept fuel savers, and great at navigating highways to city streets. Depending on what’s needed, you can find passenger tires built to withstand winter driving and high-performance tires.

Some of these tires are available for purchase through Amazon where some customers have shared their reviews:

“I’ve purchased two sets and they’ve been awesome. They lasted forever.” — Matt N

“I’m usually a Continental guy, but the used car I bought came with two of these new, already installed, and buying two more to match was a lot cheaper than four Continentals. Pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price.” — PlasmaNugget

CUV, SUV, and light truck tires

For larger and heavier vehicles, Sailun offers ten light truck tires, one of which is the Terramax R/T (rugged terrain). You’ll find that each of our light truck tires comes with its own features, but the Terramax R/T is a good example to highlight when showcasing the power of performance tires.

The TerraMax R/T light truck tires are made for rugged terrain, durability, and maneuverability. They’re 3PMS-certified, aesthetically pleasing, and built with ample tread depth for traction. Jered Korfhage from MotorTrend.com took the Terramax R/T for a test ride. The review is both positive and informative.

On a long, paved road, Korfhage listened for what noise level the tires made. Given the make of some rugged terrain tires, they can sometimes be quite noisy. However, Korfhage determined that the Terramax R/T tires sat at a reasonable noise level.

Once the intense, off-roading started, it tested the tire’s integrity. The sidewalls remained intact through dirt, trailside rocks, and boulders. Korfhage put the tires through a rigorous test and they came out unpunctured.

As for the traction capabilities of the tread, it was tested with stones, gravel, mud, and dirt, a good idea since that’s what these light truck tires are made for. The bars within the treads kept any stones from getting stuck, keeping the treads clear to maintain traction. The tires did formidably well in slippery conditions.

Korfhage even took the tires rumbling through desert gravel where the piece ranged from “uniform golf-ball-sized pieces to sharp cantaloupe-esque bits of geology keen on tearing off entire tread blocks.” The tires still suffered no damage.

In terms of price, Terramax R/T tires are comparably less expensive than other rugged terrain tires but they don’t neglect performance. Don’t forget, not all tires are 3PMS-certified, but Terramax R/T tires are.

Ev/Hybrid tires

We’ve even included an option for hybrid vehicles. Our ERANGE EV tires are designed for performance and increased range on a single charge. ERANGE EV tires are built off our reputable foundation, including EcoPoint3 liquid phase mixing technology. This ensures the tire lasts longer, performs better, reduces rolling resistance, and drives quietly.

Also from MotorTrend, Alan Lau took the ERANGE EV tires for a test drive. These tires kept the noise level in the cabin quiet. They also navigated a twisty downhill with excellent control. Compared to Tesla Model 3 tires, ERANGE EV tires performed just as well at a lower price point.

Our EcoPoint3 technology requires the rubber compound materials to be mixed uniformly under continuous liquid phase conditions, producing tires with high-end traction in wet and dry conditions and low rolling resistance.

Because drivers don’t have engine noise when driving an electric vehicle, other sounds can feel more pronounced, such as road noise and tire noise. This is why electric vehicle tires are sometimes louder.

However, Sailun uses SilentTread to reduce tire noise. Instead of using foam within the tire to reduce road noise, we use a sequential pitch tread design to reduce tire noise and manufacturing costs.

Sailun has the tires you need

As you’ve seen, there’s no shortage of options at Sailun. There are seven passenger tires, ten light truck tires, seven winter tires, and a special hybrid tire. And that doesn’t even begin to include the band of options in commercial truck tires. For your next set, check out our tire page.
